Job summary

Gates Hudson is seeking a Property Manager in Harrisonburg, VA to oversee day-to-day property operations, maximize occupancy and property values, and guide a team of on-site staff. You will train the Assistant Property Manager and ensure adherence to policies, budgets, and Fair Housing laws.

Responsibilities include budgeting, invoicing, delinquency control, leasing documentation, and vendor coordination, with a focus on tenant satisfaction and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent certification required.
• 2-5 years experience as a Property Manager.
• Ability to work independently and also as a productive member of a team.
• Must have strong background in customer service.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Knowledge of landlord/tenant, ADA, and fair housing law.

Responsibilities

• Manage property operations to maximize occupancy and value.
