Job summary

Brookfield in Washington, DC seeks an experienced Supervising Property Manager to oversee daily operations of an apartment community, including leasing, maintenance, and staff supervision. You will ensure the property’s NOI is maximized while maintaining service quality.

You will manage budgets, vendor contracts, and compliance with housing quality standards, coordinating with the Corporate Office and Marketing to optimize occupancy and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3-4 years of supervisory experience in property management.
• Certifications such as ARM, CPM, CAM, or IREM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily operations of an apartment community, including administration, leasing and occupancy, and maintenance.
• Manages on-site staff and ensures performance aligns with company policies.
• Reviews budgets, prepares operating budgets, and analyzes monthly results.
• Coordinates with Engineering, Marketing, and Corporate Office on major issues and improvements.
• Ensures compliance with housing quality standards and regulatory requirements.
