Job summary

Enterprise Community Partners seeks a dynamic Property Manager to lead overall operations at a residential property, ensuring safety, quality, and excellent service for residents and staff.

You will manage budgeting, marketing and leasing, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with Fair Housing and program requirements while delivering strong financial results and high resident satisfaction across the site in Washington DC area.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years property management experience or management experience in a related field, at least two years in a supervisory role preferred.
• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• NCHM COS (Certified Occupancy Specialist) & TCS (Tax Credit Specialist) Certification or equivalent certification from a nationally-recognized compliance training program and experience, or ability and commitment to obtain certifications at the next available course offering.
• Demonstrated experience and solid track record in marketing and leasing.
• Strong financial acumen; Demonstrated ability to understand basic financial statements and to manage expenses and revenue within budgets.
• Ability to lead, direct, and motivate others to innovate and excel.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact, in English, with a diverse group of associates, residents and external agencies.

Responsibilities

• Leads a high-performance team and ensures accountability for mission, quality, safety and performance standards.
• Oversees operations, marketing, financial management and maintenance of the property.
• Ensures safety and an attractive environment for residents and guests.
• Develops annual operating budget and maintenance plans; monitors expenses and revenues.
• Interacts with residents and staff to resolve concerns promptly and professionally.
• Leads sales and marketing activities to achieve occupancy goals and stays updated on market trends.
• Ensures compliance with Fair Housing Act and program requirements; manages lease renewals.
• Monitors delinquencies, collects rents, and maintains records.
• Ensures safety protocols and promotes a culture of safety.
• Prepares and distributes management reports; trains staff; identifies succession candidates.
