Job summary

PK Housing in Sturgis, MI, seeks a driven property manager to run day-to-day operations, supervise onsite staff and act as an ambassador of the community.

Full-time position with medical, dental and vision benefits; compensation is $21 per hour. Responsibilities include leasing, resident relations, budgeting, marketing, and ensuring compliance and maintenance are performed to standard.

Qualifications

• Experience with property management required.
• Experience with Rural Development preferred.
• Customer Service attitude required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the community and onsite staff.
• Maintain strong resident relations and ensure satisfaction.
• Market the property to target markets and community outreach.
• Oversee leasing of apartments and maintain occupancy.
• Process new applications and provide required information to compliance.
• Maintain compliance policies and procedures.
• Supervise rent collection, ledgers, bank deposits and petty cash.
• Pursue delinquent rents and evictions and report to compliance.
• Provide account information to Regional Supervisor.
• Enforce community rules and supervise maintenance, landscaping and snowplowing.
• Develop, monitor and achieve annual budget objectives with Regional Supervisor.
• Experience with property management software.
• Other duties as assigned.
