Pay: $24.00 per hour Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday- Friday 8:00am-4:40pm

Job Summary

We are seeking Property Managers to oversee residential rental properties and provide excellent service to residents. This position is responsible for managing day-to-day property operations, lease compliance, rent collection, inspections, resident concerns, and staff supervision.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of residential properties, including elderly, family, and scattered-site housing.
  • Oversee rent collection, lease compliance, resident charges, and eviction processes when necessary.
  • Conduct property rounds, move-in, annual, and other required inspections; address property concerns and lease violations.
  • Market available units and assist prospective residents with the leasing process.
  • Work with residents, resident organizations, and social service staff to resolve concerns and provide excellent customer service.
  • Coordinate with maintenance and modernization teams to ensure properties are well-maintained and presentable.
  • Assist with annual budgets, reports, and other property management documentation.
  • Supervise, train, coach, and evaluate assigned staff, including managing leave, timesheets, and payroll adjustments.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration, Urban Studies, Property Management, or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and property management experience.
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Property management or residential housing experience preferred.
  • Experience with subsidized housing preferred.
  • Supervisory experience in a unionized environment is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a busy, changing environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record required.
Requirements
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and move throughout properties as needed.
  • Ability to attend onsite/offsite meetings and communicate effectively in person, by phone, and by email.
  • Must be willing to complete a drug screen, criminal background check, and motor vehicle check as a condition of employment.
