Job summary

PK Housing is seeking a driven property manager to oversee day-to-day operations of the community and act as an ambassador on site. The role includes supervising onsite staff and ensuring resident satisfaction while meeting financial goals.

The position is full-time with medical, dental and vision benefits, and requires experience in property management. Rural Development exposure and a strong customer-service mindset are valued.

Qualifications

• Experience with property management required.
• Rural Development experience preferred.
• Customer service attitude required.

Responsibilities

• Understand the financial goals of the property and ensure the goals are met.
• Supervise on-site staff including cleaning, leasing, and maintenance.
• Maintain strong resident relations and ensure satisfaction with the community.
• Market the property through community outreach and target markets.
• Oversee leasing of apartments and maintain occupancy rates.
• Process new applications and provide required information to compliance.
• Maintain compliance policies and procedures.
• Supervise rent collection, ledgers, bank deposits, and petty cash.
• Pursue delinquent rents and evictions and inform the compliance team.
• Provide account information to the Regional Supervisor.
• Supervise resident relations and enforce all community rules and regulations.
• Supervise maintenance staff, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
• Supervise landscaping, lawn care, and snowplowing.
• Work with Regional Supervisor to meet annual budget objectives.
• Experience with property management software.
• Other duties as assigned.
