Job summary

ONYX Multifamily Group in Tyler, TX is seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of The Finley multifamily community. This role focuses on tenant relations, financial performance, and regulatory compliance.

You will lead on-site staff, manage leasing, maintenance, and vendor relationships while ensuring a safe, well-maintained, and compliant community that delivers strong resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Property Management, Real Estate, or a related role.
• Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day property operations and performance.
• Prepare and deliver weekly and monthly property reports and track metrics.
• Develop and manage property budgets and align expenses with goals.
• Collect rent, monitor accounts receivable, and coordinate evictions when necessary.
• Maintain financial records and prepare regular reports for stakeholders.
• Build positive resident relationships through effective communication and conflict resolution.
• Oversee leasing process, including background checks and leases.
• Market available units to attract and retain residents.
• Coordinate property maintenance and repairs; manage vendors and service contracts.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and safety standards.
