Job summary

Gates Hudson & Associates seeks a Property Manager to oversee all property operations, train the Assistant PM, and maximize occupancy and property values. You will ensure compliance with policies and relevant laws, while coordinating staff and resources to meet owner objectives.

The role requires leadership, budgeting, leasing, and strong communication to manage resident relations, marketing, maintenance, and safety across on-site teams.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent required.
• Experience as a Property Manager (2–5 years).
• Strong leadership and team mentoring abilities.
• Knowledge of ADA and fair housing laws.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in budget development and adhere to budget guidelines.
• Oversee on-site staff and coordinate operations.
• Train and supervise staff; conduct performance reviews.
• Handle accounts receivable and rent collections.
• Maintain lease accuracy and compliant filing.
• Coordinate resident relations and marketing efforts.
• Ensure property maintenance and safety protocols.
