Gates Hudson & Associates is seeking a Property Manager to oversee daily property operations, budgeting, leasing, and staff coordination. The role emphasizes maintaining occupancy, regulating finances, and ensuring compliance with housing laws and company policies.

The candidate will lead a team, train the Assistant Property Manager as needed, and coordinate with the Regional Manager and Property Owner to achieve property objectives and high resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent certification.
• 2-5 years experience as Property Manager.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of landlord/tenant, ADA, and fair housing laws.
• Ability to lead, develop and mentor a team.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in budgeting and stay within budget guidelines.
• Oversee on-site staff and training, performance reviews.
• Manage leasing, applications and renewals per policy.
• Admin tasks: records, reports, invoicing and payments.
• Coordinate maintenance, vendor relations and safety programs.
• Ensure compliance with laws and company policies.
• Promote resident satisfaction and effective resident relations.
