Job summary

Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a Property Manager to oversee daily operations at our properties, supervise staff, and meet budgeted financial goals. This role involves supervising all staff, coordinating with maintenance, and enforcing company policies.

Responsibilities include managing leasing, inspections, resident relations, reporting, and implementing retention programs while ensuring OSHA and Fair Housing compliance. Excellent communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of property management experience
• Knowledge in Fair Housing
• Ability to exercise sound judgment
• Self-motivated with attention to detail
• Ability to maintain positive relationships with internal and external contacts

Responsibilities

• Operate the property within financial guidelines
• Perform daily physical inspections of the property and coordinate with the maintenance team
• Maintain direct supervision of all staff, including work schedules and delegation of duties
• Interview and hire all property employees
• Ensure AMC policies and procedures are upheld and infractions are reported
• Meet leasing objectives by ensuring proper sales techniques are used including first-hand leasing
• Handle resident requests or concerns with discretion
• Take responsibility for administrative duties including required reporting
• Implement and maintain a resident retention program (newsletter, referrals, social activities)
• Design/maintain a marketing and advertising concept for staff to implement
• Ensure property compliance with OSHA, Fair Housing, and AMC safety guidelines
• Investigate and report incidents involving residents, employees, vendors or others
