Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a Property Manager to oversee daily property operations and lead a team toward achieving financial and operational goals. The role emphasizes strong leadership, tenant relations, leasing objectives, and regulatory compliance across OSHA and Fair Housing guidelines.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of property management experience required
• Ability to exercise sound judgment
• Self-motivated with attention to detail
• Ability to maintain positive relationships with internal and external contacts
• Strong communication skills
• Knowledge in Fair Housing
• Leadership experience

Responsibilities

• Operate the property within financial guidelines
• Perform daily physical inspections and coordinate with the maintenance team
• Directly supervise all staff including scheduling and conflict resolution
• Interview and hire all property employees
• Ensure AMC policies and procedures are followed and infractions reported
• Meet leasing objectives with effective sales techniques including first-hand leasing
• Address resident requests or concerns with sound discretion
• Handle administrative duties including required reporting
• Design and maintain a resident retention program (newsletter, referrals, social activities)
• Design/maintain marketing and advertising concepts for property staff
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, Fair Housing, and AMC safety guidelines
• Investigate and/or report incidents involving residents, employees, vendors, or others
