Job summary

MRK Partners is seeking an experienced Property Manager to support the Willows at Spruce Run community in Clinton, New Jersey. The role emphasizes revenue and expense oversight, regulatory compliance, and strong resident relations leadership.

You will supervise staff, coordinate interviews, manage budgets and capital projects, and ensure timely renewals for LIHTC and related programs while upholding MRK Partners’ standards of service and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum five years in property management with supervisory experience.
• Experience with LIHTC, Public Housing, Tax Credit or Section 8 preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven budgeting, accounting, and vendor coordination ability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee property operations, revenue collection and expense management.
• Lead hiring, training, development and retention of staff.
• Manage budgets and capital expense projects (HVAC, roofing, parking).
• Ensure compliance with funding sources (LIHTC, Housing programs).
• Coordinate resident relations and repairs requests.
• Maintain documentation and property files.
