Job summary

Prospera Housing Community Services is seeking a Property Manager to oversee all operations at the property, including occupancy, leasing, marketing, maintenance, rent collection and compliance with program requirements.

The role requires budgeting support, collaboration with residents and staff, regular staff meetings, leadership, and ensuring resident satisfaction while meeting financial goals. A valid Texas driver license is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management/Administration, Real Estate or related field plus a minimum of 1 year of Property Management experience.
• One year of management experience in Property Management software; Real Page experience preferred.
• Demonstrate an ability to apply logical thinking to define problems and initiate action.
• Experience in a customer-focused and fast-paced professional environment.
• Certification in housing/occupancy and tax credit management within 1 year of employment.
• Valid Class C Texas Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Regional Manager and Assistant Director of Operations in preparation of annual budgets and income projections. Adhere to established annual budget.
• Collaborate with residents and resident organizations in developing and maintaining community policies, improvements and social programs.
• Prepare for and participate in Bi-Annual Board meetings with Corporate and Resident Services personnel.
• Address resident concerns and requests to ensure resident satisfaction with management.
• Conduct weekly collaboration meetings with property staff covering move-ins/outs, events, inspections and concerns.
• Provide staff training, supervision and leadership to maintain an effective team.
• Manage the property and property management staff.
