Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Property Manager in Walnut Creek, CA, to supervise a property operations team and oversee the financial performance of a property or small portfolio. You will manage daily activities, coordinate staff, and act as the owner’s liaison, ensuring timely reporting and strong client relationships.

Responsibilities include budget development, rent and CAM review, and implementing risk- and emergency-recovery programs. A CA real estate license and 3–5 years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Active and valid California Real Estate License is required.
• Prior commercial office property management experience is strongly preferred.
• Possession of CPM or RPA designations is preferred.
• Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated information and convey performance expectations.
• Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision to employees and conduct performance evaluations.
• Coordinate and lead the team's daily activities and schedules.
• Respond to tenant needs and issues.
• Conduct site visits and property inspections.
• Serve as primary contact with property owners and deliver reports.
• Develop and control annual operating and capital budgets.
• Create programs for emergency recoveries.
• Prepare required legal notices for approval.
• Review rent and CAM charges for timely payment.
• Lead by example in CBRE RISE values and align with objectives.
• Identify and resolve day-to-day operational issues.
