Job summary

Borger Residential is seeking a Property Manager to assist the regional property manager in maintaining assets and maximizing returns. The role requires a self-starter with multifamily management experience and sound judgment to lead teams in delivering superior service at Borger Residential.

The position involves managing owners, tenants, and vendors, maintaining compliance, and overseeing daily office operations.

Qualifications

Experience in property management is preferred.
DC Property Manager’s License or ability to obtain licensure within 120 days.
Bilingual is strongly desired.
Strong administrative and vendor management skills.

Responsibilities

Manage relationships with property owners, tenants, and vendors.
Handle administrative tasks including calls, emails, and scheduling.
Perform data entry and organize files for properties and tenants.
Upsell services or amenities to tenants when appropriate.
Oversee day-to-day office operations for smooth workflow.
Negotiate contracts with vendors for maintenance and repairs.
Coordinate maintenance activities, scheduling repairs and inspections.
Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.
Assist with facilities management including cleaning, landscaping, security.
Review market data to determine rental rates and implement pricing strategies.
Maintain records of financial transactions, assist with budgets and operating expenses.
