Job summary

Borger Residential invites applications for a Regional Property Manager to lead day-to-day operations across our portfolio in the DC Metro area. This role emphasizes tenant satisfaction, safety, and program quality, aligning actions with owner goals and budget plans.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of local multisite property management experience, a four-year degree or equivalent, and a strong grasp of applicable housing laws. Strong communication and financial acumen are essential.

Qualifications

• DC PM License or ability to obtain within 120 days.
• 5 years prior property management experience.
• Recent local multisite market-rate property management experience required.
• Requires four-year college degree or equivalent.
• Knowledge of federal, state and local laws for marketing multi-family housing.
• Accounting and administrative background preferred.
• Minimum four years of office record keeping, deposits and supervision.
• Knowledge of apartment maintenance and management preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Accurate typing and legible handwriting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day property operations, ensuring safety programs are followed.
• Supervise maintenance programs for interior and exterior property conditions.
• Maintain positive tenant relations and prompt response to requests.
• Manage contract services, vendor negotiations, and service quality.
• Develop and administer Property Operating Plan and Budget for properties.
• Collect, analyze, and report property management data.
• Maintain regular communications with Owner's Representative and Corporate Comptroller.
• Handle day-to-day financial records and reporting for properties.
• Represent Borger Residential positively in the community and with partners.
