Job summary

Vesta Management is seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee Moosup Gardens Townhomes in Moosup, CT. The role focuses on affordable housing programs (LIHTC, Section 8) and day-to-day operations, including leasing, budgeting, compliance, and resident relations.

You will lead staff, manage budgets, ensure rent collection, and drive resident retention while maintaining high service standards in a hands-on environment.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent experience required; 3–5 years in occupancy/leasing/APM roles preferred.
• Experience with site-based affordable housing programs is strongly preferred.
• COS and/or CPO certification is a plus and supervisory experience is expected.

Responsibilities

• Oversee leasing with emphasis on occupancy and rent collections.
• Prepare and monitor annual property budgets and financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal housing programs.
• Supervise maintenance staff and coordinate vendor relationships.
• Maintain resident files and ensure timely renewal processes.
• Lead safety and emergency response procedures for the community.
