Job summary

Vesta Management is seeking a results-driven Property Manager for Woodrow Wilson Townhomes in Amsterdam, NY. You will oversee day-to-day operations, budget, leasing, and compliance for an affordable housing community, leading a team to deliver resident-focused service.

The role requires hands-on leadership, knowledge of LIHTC and Section 8 programs, and a commitment to operational excellence within a community-centric framework. Join a team dedicated to resident experience and growth.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent experience, plus an additional 3-5 years of related experience/proven track record in similar function, i.e., occupancy, leasing, APM role.
• Experience with site based affordable housing programs strongly preferred if applicable.
• COS and/or CPO Certification strongly preferred.
• Experience in a supervisory role/capacity required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day property operations and staff to meet budget and occupancy goals.
• Develop and manage annual property budget, monitor results.
• Ensure leases are complete and processed on time; manage renewals.
• Lead leasing and marketing to maximize occupancy and rent.
• Ensure compliance with affordable housing programs (LIHTC, Section 8).
• Coordinate maintenance with the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Maintain resident files and confidential information.
• Organize and lead emergency preparedness and safety training.
