Job summary

JES Holdings seeks a Property Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of assigned properties, including marketing, leasing, budgeting, and resident relations.

You will ensure compliance with Fair Housing and affordable housing programs while supervising staff, coordinating inspections, and driving occupancy targets. Strong communication and proficiency with Microsoft Office are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of affordable housing experience with LIHTC or Section 8.
• Solid understanding of Fair Housing.
• Experience with income qualification, tenant file accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Market and lease apartments to maintain occupancy.
• Drive cost effectiveness and oversee property budgets.
• Address and manage resident concerns and service requests.
• Supervise property staff including maintenance and housekeeping.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing and affordable housing regulations.
• Conduct initial lease process and annual re-certifications for programs.
• Prepare units for occupancy and coordinate inspections.
• On-call for after-hours emergencies and training events.
