Job description

The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for arranging repairs and maintenance across a large number of rental units; this can include identifying vendors, scheduling repairs, and verifying quality of work performed.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Contacts approved vendors for support
  2. Research and onboard new vendors as needed
  3. Obtains landlord approval in accordance with management agreement terms, escalates issues to PME as needed, coordinates maintenance and repairs upon approval
  4. Develops maintenance plans and implements them
  5. Ensures quality control standards are consistently met
  6. Purchases any equipment, tools, or materials that may be required
  7. Assesses procedures and makes recommendations for improvement
  8. Orders and coordinates delivery of appliances and materials for occupied properties
  9. Approves maintenance invoices
  10. Troubleshoots maintenance tickets
  11. All other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications

  1. College Degree (preferred)
  2. Minimum of 1 year of maintenance coordination experience
  3. Excellent customer service and negotiation skills
  4. Basic knowledge of G-Suite applications (Gmail, Drive, Google Sheets)
  5. Experience in Appfolio and Property Meld (preferred)
  6. Internet speed of 50 mbps and above
  7. This position is fully remote and you can reside in any geographic location but you must be able to work 8-5 PST hours
  8. Hourly Rate: $8 - $9 per hour

  1. Average days to complete a service request
  2. Individual phone pick up rate
  3. Positive (5-star) online reviews
