Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

  1. This position requires medium-level expertise in SQL, including building unique queries and understanding complex data quickly and accurately. The candidate should be creative in data analysis and interpretation, managing and adapting data to meet immediate needs.
  2. Lead and direct client analytical activities for rebate management; analyze large data sets to identify trends, opportunities, and troubleshoot issues.
  3. Manage training, workflow, and deliverables for analysts in the segment, including on-the-job training in analytical techniques, industry knowledge, and best practices. Serve as both team lead and individual contributor.
  4. Lead quality improvement and strategic initiatives for the Trade Analytics department to ensure high performance, quality, efficiency, and adherence to methods.
  5. Develop and review statistical analysis and forecasting models, providing recommendations for policies, procedures, or actions.
  6. Maintain a mindset of continuous improvement, always seeking new ways to meet internal and external requirements and improve departmental KPIs and metrics.
  7. Manage multiple priorities and deadlines with minimal supervision, including developing and maintaining client deliverables, schedules, and ad-hoc reports.
  8. Represent the Trade Analytics group to senior management and cross-functional teams by effectively communicating decisions and rationale.
  9. Engage with high-touch clients through calls regarding rebates, addressing questions or issues as they arise.
  10. Stay updated on industry and regulatory changes.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Manage assigned staff, overseeing their direction, coordination, and evaluation. Responsibilities include hiring, training, performance appraisal, and enforcing policies fairly and consistently.

Client Responsibilities

This role requires excellent customer service and interpersonal skills to respond promptly to client needs, solicit feedback, manage difficult situations, and meet commitments.

Qualifications
  • BA degree or equivalent + 5+ years of experience, including 3 years of supervisory experience. Alternatively, 4 years of MedImpact experience plus leadership training and mentorship may substitute.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, moderate SQL experience.
  • Proven leadership, communication, analytical, and financial reasoning skills. Experience with operational database applications, finance, or data analysis.
  • Attention to detail and ability to lead quality or process improvements.
Additional Skills and Abilities
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills, ability to interpret instructions, and mathematical proficiency in handling percentages, interest, and statistical concepts.
  • Excellent reading, writing, and speaking skills; ability to communicate effectively with groups.
Physical Demands and Work Environment

Primarily sedentary work, with occasional lifting up to 10 pounds, and the ability to work remotely. Moderate noise level, flexible hours, and occasional travel required.
