Job summary

PURE HomeRiver is seeking an Associate Property Management Attorney to handle complex real estate and litigation matters across our operating jurisdictions. You will oversee disputes, coordinate discovery, and manage outside counsel.

You will advise on Landlord-Tenant Acts, DRE/REC rules, Fair Housing and HUD/EPA standards, and draft or review operational agreements, policies, and licensing documentation to ensure compliance.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and an active license to practice in at least one US jurisdiction.
• 3+ years of civil litigation experience, preferably involving real estate or landlord-tenant matters.
• Experience interpreting federal, state, and local regulations related to landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing, and licensing.
• Experience coordinating subpoenas, depositions, or formal complaints and drafting legal agreements or policies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee property management litigation across operating jurisdictions and coordinate discovery.
• Manage outside counsel and advise on regulatory compliance with Landlord-Tenant Acts, DRE/REC, Fair Housing, HUD/EPA standards.
• Draft, review, and update operational agreements, corporate policies, filings, and licensing documentation.
