CONAM Management Corporation is seeking a Business Manager (Assistant Property Manager) for Vista Sureno in Phoenix, AZ. This on-site role combines accounting, leasing, and leadership, serving as the person-in-charge when the Community Manager is absent.

You will manage financial operations, support budgets and reports, oversee leasing, and ensure accurate resident records while delivering excellent customer service. The position offers full benefits and a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in conventional / luxury property management.
• 1-2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with leasing, financial reporting and resident services.
• Ability to maintain high occupancy and provide excellent customer service.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook; Yardi and/or MRI a plus.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Manage financial operations including accounts payable/receivable and rent payments.
• Support Community Manager with budgets, financial reports, and cost control.
• Oversee leasing process from inquiry to move-in.
• Maintain accurate resident files and ensure policy compliance.
• Assist with marketing and advertising to fill vacancies.
• Conduct apartment tours and process applications to maximize occupancy.
• Handle resident relations and provide outstanding customer service.
• Ensure lease documentation and move-in/move-out records are accurate.
• Collaborate with Community Manager to enforce policies and fair housing guidelines.
• Perform general office tasks and resident communications.
• Organize resident events and build community relations.
• Be prepared to act as person-in-charge in the Community Manager's absence.
• Other duties as assigned.
