Founded in 1998, CASL partners with other nonprofits to connect residents to medical and mental health care, financial assistance, and educational and career-focused resources. CASL believes that clean, permanent homes with wraparound supports significantly improve the likelihood of stability and success for the individuals served.

Role Description We are seeking a strong leader to take charge of designing and implementing the separation of the property management department into its own division. This is an overtime-exempt position with a starting annual salary at $95,000. Responsible for the administrative portion of CASL properties, many of which have restrictions regarding target tenants and income from grants and funding, including HUD-COC, HOME, SHP, CDGB, SAIL, and LIHTC . Ensure funding, contract, program, and grant requirements are met for each residence and/or project. This position is to make decisions, lead, and direct but also step in when needed to ensure day-to-day tasks are complete. Responsible for designing and implementing the proper strategic direction of the property management division with big picture thinking but knowledge of the details. Provide team development through empowerment and delegation.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
• At least three (3) years of experience in a property management or income verification position. Experience with LURA, SAIL, ELI, and CDBG is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of relevant housing regulations and requirements.
• At least two (2) years of experience in a supervisory and leadership role.
• Experience working with individuals with mental health, substance use disorders, disabilities, or homelessness is preferred.
• Proven management skills with ability to work with teams, different departments, and partner organizations.
• Leadership, including integrity, adaptability, critical thinking, and problem solving
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Highly detail oriented.
• Demonstrates excellent verbal and written skills.
• Must be effective in unitizing Microsoft Suite, such as Outlook, Excel, Word, and SharePoint.
• Must be able to effectively utilize electronic property management software.

• Good Moral Character.
• Must pass a drug screen and follow drug-free workplace policy.
• Must maintain training as required.
• Must have a negative TB screening within 30 days of hire and annually thereafter.
• Valid Florida Driver’s License; must be able to drive with the ability to become and remain under the agency’s insurance policy.
