Job summary

MAA is seeking an Assistant Property Manager for our Southwind properties in Memphis, TN. You will be responsible for collecting rent, posting deposits, and handling move-out inspections while delivering strong leasing and customer service to residents and prospects.

You should have 1–3 years of Assistant Property Manager or leasing experience, with bookkeeping skills and a high school diploma or GED (Bachelor’s degree preferred).

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of Assistant Property Manager and/or Leasing experience.
• Bookkeeping skills and/or experience.
• High school diploma/GED, Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect rent and ancillary fees from residents, including delinquent accounts.
• Post income and deposits to residents’ accounts.
• Inspect apartment homes after move-out and prepare units for leasing.
• Provide sales and customer service to current and prospective residents.
• Lease apartments and provide office management and support.
