Job summary

MAA is seeking an Assistant Property Manager in the West End area to join a dynamic multifamily team. You’ll collect rents, post deposits, inspect move-outs, and lease apartments while delivering excellent service to residents and prospects.

Candidates with 1–3 years in property management or leasing, and basic bookkeeping skills, are encouraged to apply. A high school diploma is required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of Assistant Property Manager and/or Leasing experience.
• Bookkeeping skills and/or experience.
• High school diploma/GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect rent and ancillary fees from residents, including delinquent accounts.
• Post income and deposits; inspect apartments after move-out.
• Lease apartments and provide sales/customer service to current and prospective residents.
• Office management and support for the property team.
