Job summary

The Carroll Companies is seeking an Assistant Property Manager in Austin, TX. You will assist the Property Manager with day‑to‑day property operations and assume greater responsibilities as you learn all aspects of management.

You will serve as the on‑site point of contact when the Property Manager is unavailable. Responsibilities include rent collection, leasing activities, marketing input, and supporting resident communications.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of property management experience.
• Computer literate and proficient in OneSite/RealPage.
• Strong customer service and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work occasional Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Finance & collections: manage rent, process payments, deposits and non‑payment notices.
• Leasing & marketing: input walk‑ins/move‑ins/move‑outs and maintain files.
• Support with leases, renewals, market trends and resident screenings.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and vendors.
