Job summary

Morgan Properties is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support daily property operations at our Maryland properties. You will assist with leasing, collections, resident services, and maintenance oversight while ensuring high standards and exceptional service to residents and staff.

Responsibilities include handling delinquencies, processed rent collections, lease renewals, and record-keeping. The role also involves supporting the Property Manager and coordinating with vendors as needed.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or 2–3 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prior property management or managerial experience in sales/customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist with leasing, collections, resident services, and maintenance oversight.
• Handle delinquent accounts, eviction processes, and rent collections.
• Prepare monthly reports on renewals, rents, leasing, and retention.
• Undertake vendor coordination and lease renewal oversight.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state Fair Housing laws.
