Job summary

POAH Communities seeks an Assistant Property Manager for Beachwinds Apartments in Narragansett, Rhode Island. The role supports the Property Manager managing a 104-unit senior housing community with two properties, ensuring regulatory compliance and efficient operations.

The candidate will help with rent collection, certifications in Yardi, and day-to-day property activities while contributing to a safe and welcoming environment for residents.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal, written and customer service communication skills are essential
• Hands-on experience in day-to-day operations, maintenance programs, marketing and leasing activities included
• Ability to work with residents, staff and managers to maintain a harmonious environment

Responsibilities

• Ensure HUD/state housing agency parameters are met
• Guarantee compliance with Federal, State and Local laws
• Prepare contracts and incorporate engineering specs for major repairs
• Assist in collecting rents and processing move-ins/outs in Yardi
• Coordinate with staff in office and maintenance areas
