Job summary

POAH Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Narragansett, RI, including Beachwinds, Fieldstone, and Water's Edge properties. You will lead hands-on maintenance, ensure safety, and perform routine services across two-story buildings with various apartment types.

The role requires at least 1 year in apartment maintenance, a high school diploma or GED, flexible scheduling, and the ability to work in all weather.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in apartment maintenance.
• High School diploma or GED required; HVAC certification preferred.
• Valid Driver's License and auto insurance may be required for use of personal vehicle.
• Flexible work schedule including weekends and on-call shifts.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, secure, comfortable living environment for residents, visitors and staff.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment.
• Make-ready repairs and services as needed across properties.
• Inspect properties and coordinate repairs as required to maintain safety and quality.
