Job summary

Albuquerque Housing Authority is seeking a Property Management Assistant for the Asset Management Division. The role supports property management, tenant relations, and administrative tasks to ensure safe, affordable housing for Albuquerque families.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent plus one year in property management or housing programs, and a NM driver’s license. Compensation ranges from $18.91 to $23.25 per hour, with non-exempt status and open closure until filled.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to graduation from the twelfth (12th) grade and one (1) year of experience supporting property management, facilities management, or affordable housing programs and activities.
• Possession of, or the ability to obtain, a valid New Mexico driver's license at appointment and a clean insurable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide clerical and administrative assistance to assigned AHA-owned or managed properties.
• Maintain tenant files and related documentation; handle tenant relations and customer service tasks.
• Assist with compliance, eligibility, maintenance requests, and general office duties.
