Anonymous Company is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support daily operations of an affordable garden-style apartment community. The role requires HUD experience and a strong focus on resident services, compliance, and leasing activities.

You will work closely with the Property Manager to maintain occupancy, ensure audit-ready documentation, and deliver excellent resident service while managing multiple priorities.

Qualifications

• Hands-on HUD housing program experience.
• Strong administrative and customer service skills.
• Ability to collaborate with the Property Manager to ensure compliance.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Property Manager with day-to-day operations and resident services.
• Support HUD compliance including annual/interim recertifications, income verification, and audit-ready files.
• Prepare, review, and organize tenant documentation for audits.
• Assist with HUD reviews, MORs, audits, and inspections.
• Coordinate leasing activities: processing applications, verifying information, waiting lists, move-ins/outs.
• Monitor rent collections and delinquency reports; document per procedures.
• Respond to resident questions and escalate issues where needed.
• Prepare reports, maintain spreadsheets, track deadlines, and handle admin tasks.
• Coordinate with maintenance on work orders, inspections, and move-ins/out.
• Assist with vendor coordination, invoices, and expense tracking.
• Monitor property performance: occupancy, collections, retention, efficiency.
• Maintain organized records and ensure timely communication with management.
• Provide backup support and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
