Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Willowbend Phase 1 to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring property buildings and common areas meet safety and quality standards. You will diagnose issues, complete repairs, and assist in preparing vacant homes for leasing, coordinating vendors and materials as needed.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, a valid driver’s license for golf cart operation on property, and adherence to safety and OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• State and Local jurisdiction certifications as required.
• Valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance.
• Executes make-ready process for vacant apartments and coordinates vendors and materials.
• Accesses and tracks materials, supplies, and equipment from the maintenance department and notifies reorders.
• Completes documentation and paperwork for service requests for proper tracking.
• Maintains grounds and common areas, cleans, and paints as needed.
• Contributes to cost control by fixing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
