Job summary

Essex Property Trust is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine and preventive maintenance across multiple properties in the Bothell area. You will handle repairs, unit turns, and grounds upkeep to ensure a quality living environment for residents.

The role requires performing on-site maintenance with duties including responding to work orders, on-call availability, and ensuring safety compliance. A valid driver's license and experience in property maintenance are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in property management or related maintenance experience.
• HVAC and/or CPO license preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license for onsite operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances).
• Prepare vacant units for new residents (painting, cleaning, repairs).
• Conduct regular property inspections and follow preventive maintenance schedules.
