Fortis Property Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join the property team at The Hamilton. You will work under the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager to uphold property upkeep and resident satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has HVAC, appliance repair, plumbing, electrical knowledge, and the ability to manage work orders and daily facility tasks. Tools and reliability are essential for this full-time hourly position.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Some vocational/technical training preferred.
• 2 years property maintenance experience or related field.
• EPA Certification preferred.
• CPO Certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, appliance repair, plumbing, electrical, and pool care.
• Must have own tools.
• Computer skills to include Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and property management software (Yardi, PO Purchase System) preferred.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in achieving maintenance budget goals.
• Ensure all work orders are completed in a timely fashion.
• Walk the property daily noting needed repairs.
• Provide same-day services on work orders.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.
• Maintain compliance with Fair Housing, ADA, OSHA, and EPA policies.
