Job summary

Fortis Property Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the community, maintain property upkeep, and ensure timely work orders and unit turns. You will collaborate with a team of maintenance staff, groundskeepers, and the community manager to uphold high standards of resident care.

Ideal candidates have 2 years in property maintenance, EPA certification, and strong HVAC/plumbing/electrical knowledge.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Some vocational/technical training preferred.
• EPA certification required; CPO preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• 2 years property maintenance experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in achieving budgeted maintenance expenses.
• Ensure timely completion of work orders and same-day service when needed.
• Walk the community daily to identify repairs and plan 5-day unit turns.
• Communicate with Maintenance Supervisor on progress and issues.
• Provide professional customer service and ensure high-quality workmanship.
