Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training preferred.
• Experience in property maintenance preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and HVAC.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting or climbing.
• Must live within 60 driving miles of the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Attend to and resolve maintenance requests from residents.
• Prepare units for new occupants (paint, clean, general repairs).
• Address plumbing, electrical, HVAC issues and other in-unit necessities.
• Regularly check building systems and structures for proper function.
• Document maintenance work using a mobile device and the Maintenance IQ app; upload photos.
• Be on-call with a rotating schedule for emergencies.
• Work with the maintenance manager and request bids from vendors.
• Maintain exterior areas and ensure orderly conditions.
