Job summary

Hillpointe is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Savannah, GA to keep buildings, grounds, and common areas clean, safe, and functional. You will handle work orders, perform inspections, and prep vacant units for new tenants.

The role requires diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues, maintaining equipment, and adhering to safety standards. A valid driver's license and EPA refrigerant credentials are required or obtainable.

Qualifications

• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in buildings and common areas.
• Possess or be willing to obtain EPA refrigerant certifications Type I/II or Universal.
• Adhere to safety standards, conduct preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Maintain accurate documentation and inventory of supplies and parts.
• High school diploma or GED required, with related training or experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders for resident requests and preventive maintenance.
• Inspect facilities to ensure safety, quality, and compliance.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new tenants and inspect for readiness.
• Manage inventory, order supplies, and coordinate with vendors.
• Assist in grounds upkeep and participate in cost-control efforts.
• Follow safety protocols and participate in mandatory safety meetings.
• Rotate on-call schedule including weekend, evening, and morning shifts.
