Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of property maintenance or handyman experience.
• Ability to read and understand work orders and safety procedures.
• Willingness to work overtime or on-call for emergencies.
• Fundamental knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC basics.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair minor plumbing issues; clear drains, fix leaks, replace valves, faucets, toilets, and sinks.
• Perform basic electrical tasks such as resetting breakers, replacing switches, outlets, and light fixtures.
• Repair and troubleshoot household appliances as needed.
• Repair windows, doors, frames, and locks.
• Complete routine building maintenance per work orders using hand and power tools.
• Participate in a regular on-call pager schedule for after-hours maintenance emergencies.
