Job summary

TRG Management is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform hands-on maintenance of apartment properties, including interior and exterior work, inspections, and preventative maintenance. The role requires operating knowledge of electrical and HVAC systems, and the ability to respond to on-call emergencies with a focus on safety and quality.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of hands-on property maintenance, strong communication skills, and an EPA/CFC certification where applicable.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least 2 years hands-on property maintenance experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
• EPA or CFC certification required/preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and assists in maintenance of office and common areas (painting, carpet cleaning, general repairs).
• Maintains property through hands-on tasks including inspection, repair and maintenance of units and common areas.
• Conducts preventative maintenance and records findings in maintenance log.
• Provides on-call emergency maintenance as required.
• Works with maintenance staff to keep grounds clean and free of debris.
• Monitors equipment (water heaters, HVAC, etc.) and performs basic diagnostics.
