Job summary

RHM Real Estate Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Warrensville Heights apartment community. You will perform repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances, conduct monthly inspections, and manage a preventative maintenance schedule to uphold our standards.

On-site work with on-call rotation, owning your own tools, and a focus on safety will be essential. We offer $24/hour starting pay, comprehensive benefits, 401(k) after 90 days, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in property maintenance or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repair.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols.
• MUST SUPPLY YOUR OWN TOOLS (the building will supply specialty tools such as drain snake, extension ladders).

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repairs.
• Conduct regular inspections and ensure safety compliance.
• Respond to maintenance requests from residents in a professional manner.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory.
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure proper functioning of equipment.
• Prepare vacant units for new residents and coordinate with office and contractors.
• Coordinate with property management to prioritize tasks and optimize resources.
• Attend to on-call maintenance emergencies as scheduled.
• Assist in property inspections and prepare maintenance reports.
