Job summary

RHM Real Estate Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our East Cleveland, OH property. You will handle plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repairs, conduct inspections, and manage preventative maintenance.

Expect on-call rotations and coordinating with contractors to keep units in top condition. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and previous maintenance experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in property maintenance or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and appliance repair.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols related to maintenance work.
• Have an excellent and professional attitude towards resident care.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work on-call shifts and respond to emergencies outside regular hours.
• Must supply your own tools while building provides some specialty tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks on plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, and appliances.
• Conduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance issues and ensure safety compliance.
• Respond to resident maintenance requests professionally.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and inventory.
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure proper functioning of equipment.
• Prepare vacant units for new residents and coordinate repairs and renovations.
• Schedule contracts and approve completed work orders and invoices.
• Collaborate with property management and vendors as needed.
• Participate in on-call rotations for emergencies.
