Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain the physical aspects of properties, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and functionality. You will diagnose and repair issues, complete make-readies for vacant units, manage inventory, document work orders, and help maintain grounds and amenities.

Requirements include EPA refrigerant certifications, state/local certifications, and a valid driver’s license. The role offers an hourly rate of $21.00–$23.00 with robust benefits for full-time onsite

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• All state/local certifications as required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing.
• Accesses materials, tracks inventory, and notifies the supervisor for re-orders.
• Completes documentation to track service requests.
• Maintains grounds and common areas, performs cleaning, and paints curbs and signage.
• Supports cost-cutting by fixing rather than replacing parts when possible.
