Job summary

The Inland Real Estate Group, through Inland Residential Real Estate Services, Inc., is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Black Feather Apartments in Castle Rock, CO. The role covers general repairs, preventive maintenance, and groundskeeping to maintain a safe, functional living environment for residents and staff.

Applicants should bring hands-on experience with plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, and landscaping; own basic tools; and be prepared for background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in property maintenance or equivalent fieldwork.
• HVAC certified or willing to obtain within 45 days of hire.
• CFC/EPA certification (or willing to obtain).
• CAMT certification preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders and stairs, and work on roofs.
• Own tools and transportation to fetch parts from vendors.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Background and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Address resident service and maintenance requests promptly.
• Communicate status of service requests to residents and staff.
• Maintain property safety and appearance throughout the community.
• Keep records for preventive maintenance and expenditures.
• Ensure make-ready repairs and services are completed on schedule.
• Perform grounds care including landscaping and snow/ice tasks.
• Change locks and manage keys; assist with deliveries and moving items as needed.
