Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR in Asheville, NC is seeking a full-time maintenance person to service commercial and residential properties. You will perform routine upkeep, complete make-ready tasks, and help preserve the property's appearance, safety, and functionality.

Must supply own tools and reliable transportation; schedule is Monday–Friday 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. Benefits include paid holidays and vacation, Health Reimbursement Account, Simple IRA after 90 days, and fuel reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Experience in multi-skill maintenance (carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, HVAC).
• Ability to complete work orders and routine upkeep.
• Must provide own tools and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assists and completes work orders and service requests.
• Executes make-ready tasks to prepare vacant units for leasing (painting, plumbing checks, locks, fixtures).
• Maintains cleanliness and appearance of grounds, buildings, and common areas to reflect high standards.
• Supports cost-cutting by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible and using materials efficiently.
• Provides responsive customer service and urgency in addressing work orders.
