Job summary

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, and a willingness to learn plumbing, electrical, or carpentry basics. Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds and work outdoors in all weather.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate general cleaning equipment (vacuum, carpet scrubber, industrial mop)
• Reading and basic math skills
• Ability to work independently of direct supervision
• Ability to prioritize and organize tasks to meet deadlines
• Knowledge of building construction and maintenance is helpful

Responsibilities

• Process maintenance service requests (work orders) in a timely manner
• Keep property grounds clean and well-maintained including dumpster areas
• Make ready vacant apartments quickly and efficiently
• Communicate status of ongoing work to the Property Manager
• Assist with other duties as needed by the team
