Job summary

ConcordRENTS in Orlando, FL is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service apartment homes and community facilities. The role covers painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs, including curb appeal and landscape tasks, with on-call duties as needed.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, basic mechanical knowledge, and English fluency. Certifications (CPO and EPA) may be required within six months of hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required.
• Requires basic mechanical knowledge.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification may be required to service pools.
• EPA certification (Universal or Type I and II) required within six months of hire.
• Ability to speak, read and write English for safety and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to residents.
• Respond to service requests and perform routine maintenance and repairs.
• Complete apartment unit turns (make-readies) and prepare units for new residents.
• Perform preventive maintenance and HVAC-related checks.
• Maintain grounds, buildings, and common areas and report issues.
• Assist with maintenance operations and resident support, including moving appliances and issuing keys.
• Adhere to maintenance processes and close service requests in the property management system.
• Participate in on-call duty for evenings and weekends as required.
