Job summary

Billingsley Collection seeks a Service Technician II to join our property maintenance team. You will perform a wide range of tasks to keep buildings safe, clean, and functional across communities managed by Billingsley.

The role requires hands-on maintenance across grounds, pools, interiors, and common areas, with exposure to roofs, crawl spaces, and multiple tools. EPA certification and a proactive, on-call mindset are preferred as we support resident and asset wellbeing.

Qualifications

• EPA certification required.
• Experience in apartment maintenance preferred.
• Willingness to learn from Supervisor and trainings.
• Fundamentals of mechanical systems.
• Able to organize, prioritize and plan your day.
• Assists and performs all aspects of the property’s maintenance, including grounds, pools, housekeeping, preventative, corrective, deferred, and emergency maintenance.
• Common use of computer skills; able to use a smart phone (Yardi Mobile app) and hand/power tools.

Responsibilities

• Work safely and use proper PPE.
• Maintain property curb appeal.
• Assist and perform all maintenance tasks including grounds, housekeeping, preventative, corrective, deferred, and emergency maintenance.
• Interior common area and exterior maintenance.
• Access flats or low slope roofs, attics, crawl spaces and use ladders as needed.
• Manage recycling and trash, including enclosures and compactor rooms.
• Assist with weather-related cleanup including snow and ice.
• Amenity and common area cleaning.
• Uphold appearance of grounds and common areas.
• Perform make-ready including cleaning and painting interior/exterior surfaces.
• Perform light audits and light bulb replacement.
• Maintain and inspect shop, storerooms, equipment, and golf carts.
• Attend safety trainings and meetings; assist at other communities as requested.
• Clean, vacuum & balance pools.
• Other duties as assigned.
