Qualifications

• EPA certification required or current.
• Willingness to learn from supervisors and trainings offered.
• Fundamentals of mechanical systems.
• Able to organize, prioritize and plan your day.
• Experience assisting maintenance including grounds, pools, housekeeping, preventive and emergency work.
• Basic computer skills; familiarity with a smartphone/app (Yardi Mobile app).
• Ability to use common hand/power tools and related chemicals.
• Ability to operate motorized vehicles/golf cart.
• Willingness to work on-call shifts, overtime, weekends.
• Uniform provided during working hours.

Responsibilities

• Work safely and use proper PPE.
• Maintain property curb appeal and overall appearance.
• Assist and perform maintenance across grounds, housekeeping, preventive, corrective, deferred, and emergency tasks.
• Interior common areas and exterior maintenance.
• Access areas such as roofs, attics, crawl spaces; use ladders.
• Manage recycling and trash areas.
• Assist with weather-related cleanup including snow/ice.
• Clean amenity and common areas.
• Perform make-ready tasks including cleaning and painting.
• Light audits and bulb replacements.
• Inspect shop, storerooms, equipment, and golf carts.
• Attend safety meetings and training; assist at other communities as needed.
• Clean, vacuum and balance pools.
