Job summary

Billingsley Collection seeks a Service Technician II to join Hartwood Square and keep the property safe, clean, and fully functional. The role covers a wide range of maintenance tasks, grounds care, and building amenities to preserve the community’s appearance and safety.

The position requires hands-on skills with common tools, flexibility for on-call shifts, and a willingness to learn through supervision and training. Reliability and organization are essential.

Qualifications

• EPA certification required.
• Willingness to learn from supervisor and trainings.
• Fundamentals of mechanical systems.
• Able to organize, prioritize and plan your day.
• Assists with all aspects of property maintenance.
• Comfort with computer use and a smartphone (Yardi Mobile app).
• Ability to use hand tools used in construction, maintenance and landscaping.
• Ability to use hand and power tools (saws, drills, grinders, etc.).
• Ability to operate motorized vehicles/golf cart.
• On-call, overtime and weekend availability.
• Willing to wear company-provided uniform.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety and PPE compliance.
• Perform grounds, housekeeping, preventative and emergency maintenance.
• Interior and exterior maintenance of common areas.
• Access roofs, attics, crawl spaces; use ladders as needed.
• Manage recycling and trash; assist with weather-related cleanup.
• Clean amenity and common areas; perform make-ready tasks.
• Conduct light audits; replace bulbs; inspect shop and equipment.
• Attend safety meetings and trainings; assist at other communities.
• Clean, balance pools; other duties as assigned.
